There are only a few changes to the Laws of the Game for this season that affect most BAYS games, and referees should have reviewed these in their courses.

BAYS Playing Rules IFAB Laws of the Game
LAW 1. Players
When a goal is scored with an extra player on the field, it counts unless the extra player is involved in the play.
LAW 6. Other Officials
4th official can assist the referee like any other “on-field” match official.
LAW 7. Duration of Match
Time can be added to the end of the game for these reasons: substitutions, assessment and/or removal of injured players, wasting time, disciplinary sanctions, medical stoppages permitted by competition rules e.g. ‘drinks’ breaks (which should not exceed one minute) and ‘cooling’ breaks (90 seconds to three minutes), goal celebrations, any other cause, including any significant delay to a restart (e.g. due to interference by an outside agent).
LAW 10. Determining the Outcome of a Match
“Kicks from the penalty mark” are now just called “Penalties” or “Penalty Shoot Out”.
Warnings and Cards are not carried forward into this phase of the game.
LAW 11. Offsides
Clarification on what a deliberate play is. ‘Deliberate play’ is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility of:
- Passing the ball to a teammate
- Gaining possession of the ball
- Clearing the ball
- If the defender touches the ball as they try to pass, attempt to gain possession or clear the ball, this does not negate the fact that the player ‘deliberately played’ the ball.
LAW 12. Fouls and Misconduct
If the referee awards a penalty kick for an offense by a defender challenging for the ball (excluding holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.), the sanction if the offense stops or interferes with a promising attack (SPA) – no caution (no YC); DOGSO – caution (YC)
LAW 14. Penalty Kicks
GK has to behave, no trickery, taunting etc.
